On Wednesday of this week we welcomed Alex Homes, a national key speaker against bullying, to the school. As part of the last week’s Anti-Bullying Week, we had organised this visit to inform our children about bullying, preventing potential issues and encourage a better awareness of the effects of bullying. We were fortunate enough to have three assemblies led by Alex, covering all year groups from Year 1 to year 6. He also led a workshop for our Year 6 children. The day was a great success and our children all had the opportunity to place stickers on other children to represent positive ‘labels’. It was lovely to see all of the kind words shared between the children and I know they all felt special after other children had given them a compliment. This event was supported by a small group of parents who we would like to thank for their support.
