Football in Havering for primary school pupils with Cerebral Palsy

Opportunities in Havering for young people with Cerebral Palsy to play Football.

If you have any young people in your school with Cerebral Palsy or a Neurological Impairment, who are able to walk with or without a frame, there is an opportunity on the Sunday 28th September at Emerson Park Academy to attend the first Training Session of the Season of epcpRomford.

There is a potential route into the England CP squad available for those successfully graduate to the Regional CP Centre of Excellence which is responsible for the Under 16s (12-15 years) and Adults (16+ years). The nearest of these is currently based at Melbourne Park in Salerno Way, Chelmsford, CM1 2EH and meets on Saturdays.

This is an excellent opportunity to get regular specific coaching and playing opportunities at a location that is easy to access. Players enrolled with epcpRomford will benefit from:

  • Coaching from FA qualified Coaches

  • Regular Training on a high quality Astro pitch.

  • Fixtures

  • Exit Routes to Regional CP Centres of Excellence and on to the CP England Football Squad

epcpRomford is part of Romford Borough Youth (an FA Charter Standard Club).

Check with your SENCO to see if you have anyone who qualifies.
